- Offers various employment and training services to Aboriginal clients
- Funds training initiatives from various sponsors or for clients who require additional training to secure employment
- Offers practical career, employment, and individual counselling
Provides funding for following initiatives:
- Mobility Assistance
- Pre-employment assistance
- Purchase of Training Program
- Self-employment assistance
Offers financial assistance for:
- Course costs and materials (can include books, tuition etc)
- Income support (daycare and travel costs, training allowance)
- Living away from home allowances

- Individual required to research training opportunities
- Must provide labour market research to support training request
- Must provide letters of possible employment from potential employers
To qualify for a Whitesand FN sponsored training program, individual must also provide:
- Updated resume
- Name of training provider/institution with contact name
- Training outline for the program
- Dates of program and number of hours per week
- Total cost of training including materials and taxes
- Letter of acceptance into program
- Completed Client Application form
- Completed Participant Information form
- Signed Employment Insurance (EI) verification form
- Signed Client consent form
- Copy of Status Card, Social Insurance Number and driver's license
